2026 Day of Service

Serving veterans, their families and the community is the goal of Post 7472.

On Saturday May 2, VFW Post 7472, along with the Post 7472 Auxiliary, family, and the Colonel Thomas Dorsey Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, worked to clean up and restore the Davis Burial Plot in Ellicott City. This is a historic burial plot that is registered as a Historical cemetery in Howard County. Work included, cleaning the fences and grave markers, cleaning up the weeds in the plot and along the fence line, trying to identify graves with no markers, pulling down trees that were threatening the burial plot and putting up chicken wire around the fence line to keep the plot protected.
